ABOUT
Elizabeth Tompkins is a speech-language pathologist and special education teacher who served students from PreK-12 in Nebraska public schools for over 25 years. For the past two decades, she worked in Millard Public Schools as a speech-language pathologist, special education teacher, and most recently as a reading specialist. Originally from Mankato, Minnesota, Elizabeth’s educational journey led her to the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders in 1993. She continued her studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, obtaining her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 1995. In 2014, Elizabeth obtained a K-12 Special Education Endorsement from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She has called Nebraska her home for over 30 years, raising her children in Omaha. She is also an avid supporter of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and proudly cheers for the Minnesota Twins. Elizabeth has lived in Papillion with her husband Darin since 2020, and they share a blended family of six grown children and one granddaughter.
